Format Options
From several locations in SwissSys you can set various format options to control the appearance of the screen and your print-outs. Choosing “Formatting” from a menu or a button invariably takes you to the “Format Options” dialog which is a seven-tab dialog.
Format Button Usage
Each of the sub-dialogs below has its own format button. You can click on it, make your changes, and inspect the new format without having to exit the dialog.
In some cases you can also do a right mouse-click to bring up a pop-up menu that allows you to change some of the most common settings for any given dialog.
Format Options Tabs
The Format Options dialog contains the following seven tabs:
- Wall Chart Formatting
- Standings Formatting
- Pair Chart Formatting
- Team Roster Formatting
- Print and Other Options — includes the “Direct printing (legacy)” checkbox, which switches printing from the default PDF path back to the older Windows GDI path (see the Print and Other Options page for details)
- Exports Formatting
- Registration List (Posting) — Controls the appearance of the registration list display
