Allow Overlapping Board Numbers
Check Allow overlapping board numbers across sections when running independent simultaneous sections that intentionally share board numbers (for example, two separate events that both start at board 1).
- Stops SwissSys from reporting cross-section board conflicts (see the Board Conflict Dialog)
- A program preference — remembered between sessions and applied to every tournament
- Leave unchecked — and turn back off afterward — for a normal multi-section event where each section needs its own board range
For an individual section, packing and conflict checks count only the active (non-withdrawn) players. When players withdraw between rounds, the boards they held are released, so you can compact a later section into that freed space without a false conflict warning — and Set boards for all sections packs each individual section by its current active count rather than its original entry count. (Team sections are sized by their full roster.)
