The installer is approximately 25 MB. Tournament files are stored as compact .sjson files that require minimal disk space.
Internet Connectivity
An internet connection is required for:
- Activation — when activating SwissSys for the first time
- Online player lookups — searching USCF or FIDE databases during registration
- Auto-updates — SwissSys checks for updates on startup automatically
- ChessRoster sync — publishing pairings and standings online
Internet access is not required for offline tournament play once SwissSys is activated.
