Extract - Section Menu

Saves the current section as a standalone tournament file, leaving the original tournament unchanged.

Menu Path: Section → Extract

After selecting this option, choose a filename for the new file. The extracted file contains the section’s players, results, and settings. The original tournament file is not modified.

This is useful for:

• Working on one section independently from the others
• Archiving a single section for later use
• Sharing a section with another tournament director
