Use Rollins Score System - Team Menu
Check this menu option to enable the Rollins (or Military) score system, used by the US Armed Forces and similar organizations for fixed-roster team events.
How Rollins Scoring Works
Points are awarded based on each player’s individual finishing position rather than their raw game score.
Formula: Player points = (total players in section) - (finishing position)
Example in a 100-player section:
| Place | Rollins Points |
|---|---|
| 1st | 99 |
| 2nd | 98 |
| 3rd | 97 |
| … | … |
| 100th | 0 |
Team Score Calculation
The team’s total Rollins score = sum of Rollins points for the top N players on the team, where N is the number on a team you have set for scoring purposes.
Rollins score affects team standings only — it is not used for pairing.
Enabling and Disabling
You can enable or disable the Rollins score system in two places:
- Rules for Pairing dialog (Setup → Rules for pairing)
- Team Roster Formatting dialog (format button in the Team Roster/Standings window)
