Board Order and Active Team Members
Adjust the board order and manage active/substitute players for fixed-roster team tournaments.
Access: Team menu > Board order
Prerequisites
- Tournament must be a fixed-roster team event
- Players must already be registered
Adjusting Board Order
By default, SwissSys assigns board order based on player ratings. Use this dialog to override that order.
Select a team
Use the Team drop-down to choose the team you want to modify.
Select a player
Click the player whose board order you want to change.
Move the player
Use the Promote/demote arrows at the top of the dialog to move the player up or down in the order.
Revert if needed
To reset a single team (or all teams) to the default rating-based order, click Revert this team to default or Revert all to default.
Managing Substitute Players
As the tournament progresses, players may drop in or out. Use the checkboxes next to each player to mark them as active or inactive.
- Checked — Player is active and will be paired
- Unchecked — Player is sitting out; a substitute may take their board
