Set Uniform Name Format - Players Menu

Standardizes the capitalization of every player name in the current section in a single operation. Use this to clean up inconsistent name entries before printing wall charts or reports.

Formatting Options

The Set Uniform Name Format submenu provides three styles:

OptionResultExample
Initial uppercaseFirst letter of each word capitalizedSmith, John A.
All uppercaseEvery character uppercaseSMITH, JOHN A.
Last name uppercaseLast name (before the comma) in all caps, first name in initial capsSMITH, John A.

This command applies to all players in the current section. It cannot be applied selectively to individual players — use Tinker to edit a single player’s name.

Preventing Future Inconsistencies

To avoid needing this command after the fact, set the Forced name format drop-down on the Display tab of Options → Environment Options before registration begins. New players will then be formatted automatically as they are entered.

  • Tinker — Edit a single player’s name directly
  • Register — Enter player names during registration
  • Environment Options — Configure the default name format for new registrations
