Set Uniform Name Format - Players Menu
Standardizes the capitalization of every player name in the current section in a single operation. Use this to clean up inconsistent name entries before printing wall charts or reports.
Formatting Options
The Set Uniform Name Format submenu provides three styles:
| Option | Result | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Initial uppercase | First letter of each word capitalized | Smith, John A. |
| All uppercase | Every character uppercase | SMITH, JOHN A. |
| Last name uppercase | Last name (before the comma) in all caps, first name in initial caps | SMITH, John A. |
This command applies to all players in the current section. It cannot be applied selectively to individual players — use Tinker to edit a single player’s name.
Preventing Future Inconsistencies
To avoid needing this command after the fact, set the Forced name format drop-down on the Display tab of Options → Environment Options before registration begins. New players will then be formatted automatically as they are entered.
