Withdraw an Entire Team - Team Menu

Use this command to withdraw every player on a selected team in one step, instead of withdrawing each player individually.

Access: Team → Withdraw an entire team

How It Works

Select the team

A dialog appears with a dropdown list of all teams in the current section. Choose the team you want to withdraw.

Confirm deletion preference

SwissSys asks: “Do you want to delete players from the roster if possible?”

  • Yes — Players who have not yet played any games will be deleted from the roster entirely.
  • No — All players are marked as withdrawn but remain on the roster.

Review the result

SwissSys reports how many players were withdrawn and how many were deleted.

Fixed-Roster Tournaments

For fixed-roster tournaments, you have an additional method that withdraws the team as a single unit:

Switch to team mode

Press Ctrl+T to switch from player view to team view.

Withdraw the team

Right-click the team in the list and choose Withdraw from the popup menu, or select the team and use the Tinker dialog to withdraw it.

This approach is simpler for fixed-roster events because it handles the team-level data correctly in one action, rather than requiring you to process each individual member.

For fixed-roster events, set byes and perform other whole-team operations while in team mode (Ctrl+T). This ensures the team-level records are updated correctly alongside the individual player records.
