Adjust Pair Numbers Before Pairing - Players Menu
Lets you manually reorder player pair numbers before any pairings have been made. Use this when you need seeding that does not match the default rating order.
This command is only available before round 1 is paired. Once pairings exist, the menu item is disabled.
How It Works
The dialog shows all players in their current order, with pair number, name, and rating. Select a player and use the up/down spin button to move them to the desired position. Click OK to apply the new order.
Pair numbers are reassigned based on position in the list — the player at the top receives pair number 1, the next receives pair number 2, and so on.
When to Use This
- You registered players in a non-rating order and want to finalize seeding before pairing.
- House rules require a specific seeding for certain players (e.g., top seeds in separate score groups).
- You want to override the automatic rating-based ordering for a special event format.
For standard rating-based resorting without manual adjustment, use Resort All by Rating instead.
