Getting Started
There are two good ways to get to know SwissSys:
First Option: Follow the Tutorial
You can load the tutorial and follow along with it. Click here to go to the SwissSys Tutorial.
Second Option: Experiment with Demo Files
If you are really in a hurry, or if you are already comfortable with a previous version of SwissSys, you can just run the program and experiment with the DEMO files that came with the program, as described below.
“Demo1.sjson” is a pre-configured fantasy tournament file of two sections at the end of three rounds. You will note that it features some thrilling upsets. This tournament is in your SwissSys “Events” folder.
“TeamDemo.sjson” is a fixed-roster team tournament.
Load one of these with the SwissSys task launcher at start-up, or use the File | Open menu command. With a little common sense it shouldn’t take long before you get the feel of the program.
Learning by Experimentation
Feel free to experiment — for many of us that’s the best way to learn. Next Topic
