Players Menu

The Players menu contains all player lifecycle commands — from registration and withdrawals to eligibility checks, rating adjustments, and display formatting.

  • Register — Open the registration dialog to add or import players
  • Withdrawals — Withdraw, re-enter, or delete players from the tournament
  • Bye/Inactive players — View lists of active, inactive, or bye players by round
  • Move player — Move or copy players between sections
  • Switch ratings/ids — Swap rating 1/rating 2 or ID 1/ID 2 fields
  • Switch state and federation — Move state field values into the federation field
  • Board history — View board assignment history for each player across rounds
  • Classes — Auto-assign class fields using standard rating groupings
  • Tinker — Edit individual player fields directly
  • Confirm player eligibility — Check all players against section rating/age/membership limits
  • Set uniform name format — Apply consistent capitalization across all player names
  • Unflag all — Clear the flag marker from all players at once
  • Adjust pair numbers before pairing — Manually reorder players before first pairing
  • Resort all by rating — Re-sort all players by current rating
  • Set ratings based on age/grade — Replace ratings with age/grade-based values (100 + 100 x Age/Grade), with options to set all players or skip already-rated ones; see the Scholastic Rating Setup for how the age field maps to ratings
  • Clear ratings… — Clear Rating 1, Rating 2, or both for every player in the current section. This operation cannot be undone.

To locate a specific player from anywhere in the program, use Find player on the Edit menu.
