Withdrawals - Players Menu
Manage the active/withdrawn status of players in the current section. This command opens a two-panel dialog showing active players on the left and withdrawn players on the right.
How to Withdraw a Player
Open the dialog
Go to Players → Withdrawals.
Select the player
Click the player’s name in the Active (left) list.
Move to withdrawn
Click the arrow button (or double-click the name) to move the player to the Withdrawn (right) list. You can also drag and drop between lists.
Click OK
Withdrawn players are marked W/D in reports and will not be paired in future rounds.
Re-entering a Withdrawn Player
To re-enter a player, open Players → Withdrawals, select the player in the Withdrawn list, and move them back to the Active list. Click OK to confirm.
Deleting a Player
If a player has no recorded results, you will be offered the option to delete them from the roster entirely after clicking OK. Players with existing results cannot be deleted until those results are cleared first.
To clear results before deletion, use Edit → Clear selected results.
Shortcuts
- Right-click a player in the main roster to access withdraw/re-enter options directly.
- Shift or Control key combinations are available while right-clicking for quick access.
- Drag players between the Active and Withdrawn lists within the dialog.
Team Tournaments
Fixed-roster team events: Withdraw the entire team using Players → Withdrawals from Team-Based View — do not withdraw individual team members one by one. Withdrawing members individually leaves the team paired but with no active players, resulting in forfeit losses for every board.
To withdraw an entire team at once, switch to Team-Based View and use the team-level withdraw option.
