Backups - File Menu
Provides access to backup files that SwissSys creates during a tournament. Backups can be used to recover from errors or to return to an earlier round.
Backup File Location
Backups are stored in a Backups subfolder next to the tournament file. Files are named with the round number (example: Club Championship~07.bk for round 7).
Submenu Options
| Option | Action |
|---|---|
| Restore from backup | Opens a backup file to recover from errors or return to an earlier round |
| Save a backup file now | Creates a backup immediately |
| Delete backups | Removes all backup files for the current tournament |
| Save backups automatically | Toggles automatic backup creation on or off |
Restoring a backup erases all later rounds. Use caution when restoring.
