Import - Section Menu
Adds sections from another tournament file into the current tournament.
Menu Path: Section → Import
How It Works
Select the source file
SwissSys prompts you to choose a tournament file to import from.
Choose sections to import
A list of available sections from the selected file is displayed. Move the desired sections into the right-hand box.
Import
Click Import (or OK). The selected sections are added to your current tournament with all their players and settings.
When to Use This
- Combining 2-day and 3-day schedules into a single tournament for merging
- Reusing a section from a previous event as a starting point
- Building a multi-section tournament from separately managed files
To merge imported sections together into one combined section afterward, use the Merge utility.
