Win Stats by Color - Reports Menu
Reports -> Win stats by color… opens a small Win stats dialog for the current section.
This report does not currently display any results. Earlier versions of SwissSys drew a pie chart of win/draw/loss outcomes by color, but the chart was removed. The dialog still opens and the underlying tally still runs, but it shows only an OK button — no numbers, table, or chart appear on screen. The menu item is retained for compatibility; treat the on-screen output as empty until a future release restores a display.
What the report measures
When the dialog opens, SwissSys walks every played game in the current section and counts the results from the White player’s point of view, accumulating three running totals:
| Total | Meaning |
|---|---|
| White wins | Games the White-side player won |
| White draws | Games drawn |
| White losses | Games the White-side player lost |
Only games with a real opponent are counted (byes, forfeits against no opponent, and unplayed pairings are skipped). Black-side outcomes are not tallied separately, so the report does not currently produce a true side-by-side “by color” comparison.
These totals are computed in memory each time you open the dialog, but the current build does not render them, so there is nothing to read or print from this window.
Availability
The Win stats by color… menu item is enabled only after at least one round has been played in the current section. If no results have been entered yet, the item is greyed out.
The dialog reports on the active section only. Switch sections from the main window first if you want statistics for a different section.
Using the dialog
- Choose Reports -> Win stats by color….
- The Win stats window opens.
- Click OK to close it.
There are no options, filters, or export controls on this dialog in the current release.
