Confirm Player Eligibility - Players Menu

This option checks to make sure that all your players (in either the current section or across all your sections) are registered in their proper sections.

If any players are found whose rating or age/grade listing is out of bounds (as set in the tournament setup dialog entry under each section), this feature will report who they are and the reason for their ineligibility.

If before you start registering players you have set the section ratings (or age/grade limits) appropriately and enabled the registration rules that flag players with ineligible ratings (or age/grade listings), the chances of getting a player into the wrong section are small.

But since there is usually a lot of chaos happening during registration time, using this feature before pairing the first round can catch some players who slip through the cracks.
