Chess Federation of Canada Registrations

The Chess Federation of Canada provides temporary SwissSys registrations for CFC-certified Tournament Directors to run official tournaments.

Getting Your Activation Token

If you’re a CFC-certified Tournament Director, contact the Chess Federation of Canada directly to request your temporary SwissSys registration. The CFC will provide you with an activation token.

Your activation token will be a simple code like: ABCDEFGH

Temporary License: Your activation token can only be used once and creates a temporary license that will expire as specified by the CFC.

Installation and Activation Instructions

Once you receive your activation token from the CFC, follow these steps:

Download and Install SwissSys

Download the latest version of SwissSys from the official website. The latest version is recommended, and version 11.74 or higher is required for full support.

Launch SwissSys

Open SwissSys after installation is complete.

Access the Registration Menu

Go to Help → Register SwissSys from the Main Menu.

Activation

Enter Your Information

Enter your name in the “Your name” field, then paste your activation token (provided by CFC) into the “Activation Token” field.

Complete Activation

Click “Activate” to complete the process. Make sure you have an internet connection during activation.
