Sharing tournament reports on the SwissSys hosted website consists of these steps:

Step 1: Create Report for Upload

Create a report for uploading using the Internet | Create report for uploading menu command in SwissSys.

Step 2: Access the Website

Go to the ChessRoster website at https://www.chessroster.com/swisssys  and log in as a user. You can use the link on the Internet menu to do this by selecting My Events.

Step 3: Create Account (First Time Only)

Before you can log in, you will need to sign up online. All this requires is:

  • Username
  • Email address
  • Password

None of this information is ever shared with anyone.

Step 4: Upload Your Report

Once logged in:

  1. Go to My Events on the ChessRoster website
  2. Select Upload a new report
  3. Navigate to the report file you created in SwissSys
  4. Click the Submit button

If your report is accepted, anyone can view it from the public Events page.

Managing Your Uploads

  • My Uploads: Shows only tournaments you have uploaded (for your personal management)
  • Events Page: Shows all tournaments publicly and is accessible to anyone who visits the website

Supported Report Types

Current reports generated by the website and supported for viewing include:

  • Wall chart - Visual tournament progress display
  • Standings - Player rankings and scores
  • Standings summary - Condensed tournament results
  • Current pairings - Round pairings by board number
  • Alphabetical pairings - Round pairings sorted alphabetically
  • Team standings - Team tournament results
  • Registration list - Player roster for individual sections
  • Master registration list - Combined roster for all sections

Additional report types may be supported in future updates.
