FIDE Database Support
SwissSys supports player lists in several formats, including FIDE’s text file list of players which can be downloaded from the FIDE website at https://ratings.fide.com/download.phtml .
Available Rating Lists
FIDE currently publishes three separate lists:
- Standard rating list
- Quick rating list
- Blitz rating list
Database Configuration
You may keep any two of these as your active SwissSys databases.
Use the Database | Database Wizard command to set one as your primary database and another, if needed, as your secondary database.
Thereafter you can import players at registration time from the list.
