Double Blitz Style Tournaments

These are events in which each round counts for two games, one as white and the other as black, played back-to-back. Prior versions of SwissSys handled these as two games per round, with results ranging from zero to two points.

Starting with version 11, SwissSys uses the more natural approach of handling the event as a double Swiss, with each matchup appearing in the charts twice.

Round Robin Options

If this is a round robin, you will be given the option of having players play their games back-to-back, or having them play everyone first, then play everyone again with colors reversed.
