Pair Chart Toolbar

Controls pair chart operations via toolbar buttons or keyboard shortcuts.

Result Entry Buttons

• L - Loss for clicked player
• D - Draw
• W - Win for clicked player
• C - Clear result
• F - Forfeit loss
• Z - Forfeit draw
• X - Forfeit win
• B - Forfeit loss for both players

Pairing Adjustment Buttons

• S - Switch two players already in the pair chart. Players with recorded results cannot be switched; clear results first if needed. See Adjusting pairings.

• R - Show replacement player list for:

  • Replacing a player with an unpaired player or bye
  • Deleting a player or match-up from the pair chart

Double-Round Mode

• Double Entry Mode checkbox - Only visible for double-round tournaments (labeled “Dbl” in setup). When enabled:
  • Result buttons cycle through combined scores (0, ½, 1, 1½, 2 points)
  • Both games are recorded with a single click
  • Not available for fixed-roster or divided round robin events

Rating Control

• Unr - Mark/unmark games as unrated for FIDE rating submissions (USCF does not support this option)

Usage:

1. Click “Unr” button (or select Results | Toggle unrated/rated for FIDE)
2. Click on the game to mark as unrated
3. Repeat to restore rated status

Notes:

• Does not affect forfeits and byes (already non-ratable)
• Unrated games display with “U” in wall chart
• Enable game highlight feature in formatting options for visual identification
