SwissSys supports drag and drop functionality for files and players, providing quick shortcuts for common tournament management tasks.

File Drag and Drop

You can drag and drop files from Windows Explorer to open them quickly in SwissSys.

Player Drag and Drop

Player drag and drop operations provide shortcuts for many common tasks:

Moving Players Between Sections

• Drag player(s) to the desired section panel

Pairing Operations

• Re-pair players on the pair chart with the help of the replacement player list
• Change a player’s opponent by dragging from the roster to the desired round in the standings or wall chart listing (not available for unfinished rounds)

Player Management

• Withdraw players - Drag player(s) from the roster to the Withdraw toolbar button
• Select a player for Tinker - Drag the player from the roster to the Tinker toolbar button

How to Use Player Drag and Drop

1. Click on a name in the player roster
2. Drag the mouse without releasing the mouse button
3. Move to your target destination (toolbar button, section panel, wall chart listing, etc.)
4. Release the mouse button to complete the operation
