Membership Forms
Use this option to maintain a list of new USCF members and to generate printed membership forms for the players in your list which you can mail directly to the USCF.
Getting Started
You can access the membership forms feature through the Reports menu, or via the Tools | Members menu of the registration dialog. In the latter case, all the player fields (name, address, etc.) will be initialized with whatever information is in the registration dialog at the time.
The fields listed are the standard ones for USCF membership applications.
Adding Players
Once you have a list started or reopened, you can add players to it from the current roster of players, shown on the right.
Double-click a player in the roster (or choose “get player info” after selecting that player) to load whatever registration information on this player SwissSys has into the membership form.
You can then complete the registration form with any other information required.
Changes you make here will be reflected in the player registration data where that is relevant.
Click the “Save/update player” button to add this player to the list you are working with.
You are then ready to select another player as before.
Editing Existing Players
You can also select a player from your saved list and click the “load” button. This loads the fields with whatever information on this player is contained in the saved list (rather than in the SwissSys registration information as described above). You can then edit this information and select “Save/update player” when done.
Printing
To print out the current list for submission to the USCF, make sure you have the list you want showing, then click the “Print list” button.
The list will be printed in the default printer font. The number of players printed per page depends on the size of the default font. A font size of 12, for instance, prints out 5 player summaries on each page.
Exporting
You can also write your list to a delimited text file from this dialog’s Tools menu. This makes it possible to open your list with other commercial database or spreadsheet software.
Set the delimiter character you want to use with the Options | Format options | Print and other options menu pick.
