Backups - File Menu
This selection and its submenu items allow you to work with the backup files that SwissSys automatically saves for you in the course of a tournament.
To turn off this feature, uncheck the submenu option “Save backups automatically.”
Backup File Location
Backup files are saved in a “Backups” subfolder of the folder where you saved the tournament. They are given a name that includes the current round, such as “Club Championship~07.bk” for a backup saved in round 7.
Working with Backups
- Restore from backup: Use this to open a backup file in case of trouble or careless mistakes
- Save a backup file now: You can force a save to backup any time you want with this command
- Delete backups: Once a tournament is done, it’s a good idea to clean up the backup folder with this menu command
