Validate - Edit Menu

Use this command to check the results for consistency after editing the main view. This validation feature will scan through your tournament data to identify any inconsistencies or errors in the pairings and results.

When errors are found, SwissSys will highlight them and provide guidance on corrections needed. Usually these errors will come in pairs, only one of which needs to be adjusted.

This is because a mistaken opponent for one player does not necessarily mean a slip-up for that opponent as well.
