Club Options

When you read a club list, SwissSys presents you with a dialog of options to control how the club players are imported into your tournament.

Section Management Options

Adding Players to Sections

You can choose how to handle club players in relation to your current section:

• Add to current section: Club players will be added to the currently active section
• Start new section: Create a new section specifically for the club players

Player List Handling

Control how the imported players interact with existing players:

• Append to existing players: Add club players to any players already registered
• Clear existing players first: Remove current players before adding club players

Import Control Options

Bye Management

• Controls how reserved byes from the club list are handled during import
• Preserves bye assignments when importing pre-registered players

Fee Handling

• Manages how entry fees and fee information from the club list are processed
• Ensures consistent fee tracking across imports

Duplicate Name Detection

• Prevents duplicate player entries during import
• Provides options for handling players who may already be registered

Automatic Resorting

• Controls whether the player list is automatically resorted after import
• Maintains proper ranking order based on ratings or other criteria

Usage Notes

This dialog appears automatically when using commands like File | Club | Read from Club or when importing club lists through other menu options.

Proper configuration of these options ensures smooth integration of pre-registered players into your tournament structure.
