Ordering SwissSys
SwissSys licenses are sold through ChessRoster. This page covers what’s available, how to order, and what to do after your purchase.
What’s Available
SwissSys v11 is sold as a one-time license — no subscription, no recurring fees. Your license includes:
- Full access to all features in the v11 product line
- Free updates within the v11 version line
- Support from the ChessRoster team
The order page at chessroster.com/swisssys/order shows current pricing and all available products. Multiple license options may be listed depending on federation requirements and intended use.
Bulk and site licenses: Organizations purchasing multiple licenses or site-wide deployments can request special pricing. Contact moc.retsorssehc@troppus to discuss your needs.
Before You Buy: Try It Free
SwissSys offers a free trial. Download it and test it on your computer before purchasing — especially important for Mac users running Windows via virtualization, where compatibility is not guaranteed.
SwissSys is Windows-only software. Mac users may be able to run it using Parallels Desktop or similar virtualization tools. Test the free trial before purchasing to confirm it works on your specific setup.

Common Questions
Can I upgrade from SwissSys v9 or v10?
Upgrade discounts are not available. Each SwissSys v11 license is a new purchase. SwissSys v11 can open tournament files from v10, so your existing data carries over.
What happened to SwissSys v10?
SwissSys v10 was retired in 2022 and no longer receives updates or support. v11 is the current supported version.
Does my license cover all USCF, CFC, and FIDE events?
Full support for USCF’s MUIR system requires SwissSys v11.76 or later. CFC-specific features require v11.74 or later. Updates within the v11 line are free for all licensed users. See the SwissSys versions page for details.
What pairing systems are supported?
SwissSys supports Swiss, Round Robin, Double Round Robin, Team Swiss, and various modified Swiss formats.
